T and I are not feeling our best so we probably won't make it to the parade today (luckily the newspaper will be streaming live video so we'll watch online while we picnic at home). Since we won't have pictures to recap the parade, here is our tribute to Veterans' Day.
Last week's Perspectives on WFSU featured the Veterans History Project, through which the Library of Congress "collects, preserves and makes accessible the personal accounts of American war veterans so that future generations may hear directly from veterans and better understand the realities of war." It's a fascinating project, and it's definitely worth your time to visit their website www.loc.gov/vets
