Spring Comes to Tallahassee

After a cold winter (December 2010 was the coldest December ever in Tallahassee, and the third coldest month on record here) when it seemed like even the camellias boycotted January, spring has come to Tallahassee! Here's a little sunshine for my northern friends:
This gorgeous flowering cherry tree is around the corner from our house.

Our magnolia tree. The first time in years it has bloomed without getting burned by frost.

One of our camellia bushes, happy at last!

Our Bradford pear tree is just starting to bloom.

Our next door neighbor's daffodils.

A few of our azaleas are thinking about blooming. It'll be a few weeks before they all bloom.

The wisteria is also sporting buds, some of which are just starting to open.
