I have to share this recipe because it's so old school. Mom bought the cookbook at a garage sale in the 60s before she met and married Dad. It's a classic.
As you can see, I've upped the flour in the cookies. Peanut butter today is much changed from 50 years ago. It has oil blended into it; without the extra flour the cookies are too runny and don't bake properly.
We baked a double batch on Sunday for Mom. T loves to do the criss-crossing. :)
