Brewfest Tallahassee Recap

Chris and I had a great time Saturday, October 30th at Brewfest. (see my preview post about the event here.) It was a gorgeous evening, cooler out but not cold. As usual we saw lots of friends:

We loved the coasters with word games on them from Narragansett

We danced and danced some more!

Two of the new beers I tried that I liked the most were Hell Hath No Fury from Bell's and Jefferson Stout from Lazy Magnolia. The former is a sort of a hybrid between a Belgium Dubbel and a stout, with a nice complex balanced flavor. Jefferson Stout is brewed with sweet potatoes! I wish it was available locally. We really enjoyed chatting with the guy from Lazy Magnolia. They continue to be the only brewery in Mississippi.

We came home with lots of goodies (perks of being VIPs) including bottle openers, reusable grocery bags, t-shirts and glasses:

All in all, a great evening for some great causes!
